Landscape design is about more than planting. It is about shaping how people move, gather, experience and connect with a place. At 650 Design Studio, we see landscape as an extension of architecture, creating outdoor environments that feel integrated, purposeful and enduring.

Residential Landscapes

We design residential landscapes that balance functionality with atmosphere. From private courtyards and pools to expansive gardens and outdoor entertaining spaces, our approach considers lifestyle, privacy, climate, maintenance and long-term usability.

Each landscape is carefully tailored to the architecture and character of the home, creating spaces that feel natural, resolved and timeless.

Clayton, Victoria

A mixed-use residential development shaped around inclusive landscape design, integrating sensory garden environments that support wellbeing, accessibility and everyday interaction for residents with disabilities. The landscape strategy combines planting, texture, movement, scent and moments of retreat to create calming and engaging outdoor spaces that encourage connection, independence and comfort. Integrated throughout the broader architectural and public realm response, the sensory landscapes become a defining element of the resident experience rather than a secondary inclusion.

Macquarie Point, Tasmania

A new pedestrian boardwalk establishes a landscape-led public realm spine through the precinct, strengthening connectivity while redefining the relationship between movement, landscape and water.

More than infrastructure, the boardwalk becomes a civic landscape experience, integrating planting, seating, lighting and moments of pause to encourage interaction, activity and occupation throughout the day.

建筑理念设计方案

We work on new projects, alterations, additions, and multi-residential developments, helping shape spaces that feel both functional and refined.

Our involvement can include early concept design, planning support, design development, and documentation. We focus on creating work that is thoughtful, practical, and suited to the people using it.

建筑理念设计方案

We look at the bigger picture as well as the individual building.

This can include site planning, broader development thinking, streetscape response, movement, public realm, and how a project fits within its wider context.

We enjoy working on projects that need both strategic thinking and a clear design direction.

建筑理念设计方案

We produce in-house visualisations that help communicate ideas clearly and confidently.

Whether for client presentations, planning submissions, marketing, or internal design testing, visuals can be a powerful way to bring a project to life early.

For us, this is an important part of the design process, not just something added at the end.
